“A community in which every layer of society is involved in
the prevention of harm and the advocacy of education.”
Real numbers. Real lives. Real change — powered by a coalition working together across every sector of our community.
prevention takes community.
The PACT Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Communities, a 501(c)3, was formed in 2010 when a group of Las Vegas community members identified the need for a coalition in Southern Nevada to address substance misuse. For more than 15 years, PACT has grown into a coordinating hub for prevention across Clark County, connecting agencies, schools, families, and local leaders around shared goals.
PACT works through the Strategic Prevention Framework, a community-based process that addresses policy, system, and environmental change. By acting as a neutral convening table, PACT brings together key stakeholders and decision-makers to address emerging issues and create lasting systemic change.
PACT also serves as a pass-through agency for state and federal grants,
administering sub-awards to local agencies to deliver direct, evidence-based prevention programming across the county.
Building skills and environments that stop substance misuse before it starts.
Lifting community voices to shape local policy and drive systems change.
Expanding access to information so every family can make healthy
decisions.
Connecting every sector of Clark County toward one shared goal.
PACT brings together every sector of Clark County to coordinate prevention
strategies and drive collective impact.
